Old gold appearance. Smells of rubber tire, pencil eraser, seaweed, salt air, tobacco leaves, old leather books. The phenolics grow with aeration and the flavors are multilayered and like caramelized onions, treacle, mince meat. Serious Islay malt of massive scale.
