Tyler Hudgens

Tyler Hudgens is the Bar Director at The Dabney.  Her bar program embraces southern hospitality and reflects Chef Jeremiah Langhorne’s Mid-Atlantic inspired concept: showcasing classically inspired cocktails with local and seasonal ingredients. Since opening in the Fall of 2015, The Dabney’s unique approach has received praise from both the James Beard Foundation and Food & Wine as a Best New Restaurant. 

Hudgens is a Bar Ready graduate of the BAR 5-Day, an active member of both the United States Bartenders Guild and the DC Craft Bartenders Guild, and travels to work and teach with Barsmarts, The Bar Institute, Diageo World Class, and The Washington Cup.  Before The Dabney, she led a variety of beverage programs along the East Coast and overseas; her most recent role was as head bartender at The Columbia Room. When not turning service into a nightly dinner party at the bar, she enjoys exploring The District with her 9-year-old Golden Retriever, Tucker, himself a lover of patios and not-so-fancy ice.
